Govt. Polytechnic, Madhubani founded in the year 2015 in the village of Arariya Sangram, Jhanjharpur has carved a niche in the field of technical education by virtue of its academic excellence, strict discipline & ceaseless thrust on inculcating noble human values in the young boys and girls studying herein. This institution started its humble journey with four branches namely- Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Electronics Engineering with the intake of 60 students in each branch.

The land of Madhubani has a rich cultural heritage. The Madhubani painting is known for its fine texture and design since the days of King Janak. Raja Janak enamoured by the beauty of this painting asked his painters to create Madhubani Painting on the auspicious occasion of the wedding of his dear daughter Sita. Keeping in mind the glorious history of this land, since the days of the inception of Government Polytechnic, Madhubani, we are striving hard to arm our students with the required technical expertise so that they may be able to face the global challenges posed by the emergence of corporate culture and rapid advancement in technology.
